"Internet only" mode doesn't seem to work

“Internet only” mode doesn’t seem to work as expected, I’ve set some devices in my home that I need internet only access (i.e. no local network) it seems like those devices are still able to access the local network. I’ve set my phone to “Internet” mode (and reconnect wifi) yet I can still access the local services via IP, This is true with other devices that were set to this mode as well

Do you only use the APs, or do you also use the Route 10 router?
I think you need to use the router to take advantage of this feature; it’s the router that routes traffic between the different segments. If, on the other hand, you want to isolate Wi-Fi devices within the same network segment, you need to enable isolation, but this applies to the entire SSID.

My home is fully Alta labs currently, no switches, or anything in between , I have a Route 10, AP6, and AP6 Pro

Good, but all the devices are in the same subnet?

Most devices are in the main vLAN 192.168.1.xxx subnet, I also have a second vLAN that’s under 192.168.2.xxx that I created with isolation

I did a quick little test from a laptop by switching the network type back and forth while pinging another device and it seeemed to work as expected. Dropping pings to a local IP address when switched over to the Internet type. Same from an iPhone, although I don’t have a screenshot of that at the moment.

The ping below shows when the connectivity stops and then resumed as the network types were switched. Think it would be possible to try something similar on your network as a test just to confirm the behavior? I guess I’m curious if it’s not working across the board or just with certain devices
