In what direction for the outdoor WAPS emit?

Do ALTA outdoor WAPS emit signal in a sphere around them, or is it more direction off of the front?

Trying to decide if I should place a WAP in the centre of a desired coverage area, or on the side facing in.

Have you checked the datasheets, found in the resources section of this page? The radiation patterns should be printed at the end.
