No sense in setting anything up if you’re planning to manage your site locally vs over the cloud. To date, you’re unable to migrate your site from the cloud to a local controller. I believe there are plans in the future to support this.
I would sit tight, delete everything from your cloud site and wait for your Alta Control.

Well it looks like you’ve updated your devices to code during your short cloud stint. If that’s the case, you should be set for when your local controller arrives. I’d suggest updating and rebooting your Alta Control before adopting your Route10 and AP.
Don’t forget to delete the Route10 and your AP from the cloud site before anything.
