I wanted to share a cool experience with some Alta Labs gear that, once again, totally blew me away.
Recently, my company got a call from clients to set up a network in a gym located in a complete dead zone – the goal was to provide WiFi for an event with up to 450 people (though in reality, we peaked at around 200, still a solid number!).
For this setup, I went with:
2 AP6 Pro units to cover the area,
an 8-port PoE switch to power everything,
and a Starlink connection to bring Internet where there was none.
Honestly, the deployment was insanely fast. In no time at all, everything was up and running. I set up a hotspot that was super straightforward: no QR codes to scan or anything complicated – users could connect right away and jump into the online game planned for the event.
The result? Zero complaints, everyone was thrilled – the clients, the attendees, and me too!
Once again, working with Alta Labs gear is a joy: reliable, efficient, and it gets the job done without any headaches.
