We installed 3 Alta Labs AP Pros, 1 AP Pro Outdoor and S8-PoEs in a high end house. Since we were limited with cables and client did not opt for centralization of switches we deployed multiple S8s. The Outdoor AP was painted with automotive UV resistant paint in black to match the garage. Client uses Alta Pass for simple ONE SSID usage with VLAN separation for guest, personal and IoT access. Advanced DPI and filters are also used for “children Wi-Fi” network where the client has full control on allowed content. S8s also provide enough power for APs and security cameras. With good speed throughput for lossless music streaming to high end Hi-Fi, S8 and APs were a perfect fit for our client that is more than happy with the outcome.
