Hardware Request: Mini NAS

Such a mini NAS hardware (maybe called NAS 10) with iSCSI Target feature might be a best seller and attract its users to try other hardware devices of Alta Labs. Meanwhile, the debut of “NAS 10“ could be a leap towards media center for Alta Labs, which would enrich the ecosystem of Alta Labs.

  • SFP+ x2
  • USB-C (10Gbps) x1
  • M.2 NVMe x1

It could be a storage expansion for the devices of other brands such as Mac Mini (users could store media works or even install media editing apps in “NAS 10“).

I think that could be pretty neat, but I suspect the core network products will be where the focus is for a while yet

Maybe! I’d imagine the goal would be to keep using OpenWRT as the base if possible since everything else uses it (except the local controller I suppose). But that wouldn’t be impossible either!
