Firewall changes not taking affect

I have noticed with the last version 1.4i and now with 1.4j when changes are made to the firewall rules and you click save… Nothing happens.
Rules are correct.
But iptables has not been updated.

'fw3 -q restart ’ command and with .5 sec it works.
reload does not work.

1 out 15 times it does work, but I cant find why it does that one time.
even if I completely change the rule , remove or add a protocol still nothing.

I can provide logs and screen shots if needed.

– just noticed if I add a new rule, the previous changes are changed right then.

We’re unable to reproduce anything similar in our testing, at least when we add/remove a source IP from am existing rule… If you can share /var/log/messages during/after the change, that would be helpful.

Try just enable or disable a rule.

If you want to invite me to your site, that might be helpful. I can enable/disable rules and the Route10 is configured correctly every time.

I’m pretty sure there’s a simple misunderstanding here. I’ll reiterate we are more than happy to take a look at your system, but we cannot replicate anything similar to what you are seeing, even with multiple attempts. I’ll DM you with my email for an invite.
