Just looking for an SFP to ethernet module recommendation for the Route10. I tried a $10 model off Amazon to see if the WAN-2 port was working. Without making any changes to the Route10 and no restart I moved my incoming Internet connection from WAN-1 to WAN-2. It came online without a hiccup. Speed and ping test were essentially identical and the Route10’s operating temperature even went down a degree or two over the next couple days. The SFP module may be acting as a heatsink as it felt pretty warm. However, webpage load time seemed to increase significantly even though the Speedtest results were the same. Switching back to the ethernet based WAN-1 corrects the delay. Any recommendations or ideas? I enjoy cautiously playing with my ALTA based home network.
Is there possibly a compatibility list, including confirmed ok or not ok by Alta and/or community?

At this time, we have an article to clarify that non-PON modules are expected to work by default.
