Dual WAN Router + DDNS requests

I know you’re coming out with a great Router. Will you be making one of the LAN ports a “flex” port, that can be used for a WAN 2 for failover in the event of ISP failure?? I currently install Dual WAN routers for all my restaurant clients as well as others that can’t have downtime. Other much needed feature would be a router hosted DDNS name to securely access camera systems and other devices.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, those are planned features. We also have our own DDNS service in place for our devices which you could use in lieu of another provider (and CNAME a hostname on your own domain to that if you wanted). But we’ll also support third party DDNS services.

Do you use an existing DDNS service? I’d like to hear which DDNS services folks are using these days. We’ll support a wide range, but always interested in feedback on what customers are using.

I currently use the DDNS built in to my araknis routers with OvRC. I prefer to use DDNS that’s built into the router. It’s as close to flawless as can be.
