Double nat issues

Hi There

I’m a bit of a newbie at this, so please be patient with me  .

I have an Alta Route 10 being used primarily as a WAN failover device. I have WAN1 in port W1 and WAN2 in port W2. My local LAN is in L1. L1 is plugged into the WAN input on my Firewalla Gold Plus. The firewall is showing a double-NAT alert, as expected. I want to keep my Firewalla as the firewall and router for all the downstream networks. If someone could give me detailed step-by-step instructions on how to set up the Route 10 to pass all traffic to the Firewalla without losing the failover over function of the Route 10, I would be most grateful! I am not sure what values I need to enter to create a Port-forward/NAT rule. The double NAT has not caused any issues that I have experienced so far. I just want to make it right.

Thanks in advance

I haven’t done it myself, but the “Exclude” section in this help article might be worth checking out

well I tried the suggestion and I lost internet all together. Also discovered that the Ios App did not allow a selection of “exclude”, but when I checked it on my PC the option was there.
