Both of my switches are showing “POE Update Available”. Are there any possible release notes for that?

I was waiting for you to ask about this. 
I know you’re always paying close attention when new features are added, good catch!
We do plan to make an announcement about it, we’ve just been doing some final testing. It should improve compatibility when non-standard/hybrid PoE devices are also present on the switch. The update will take some time, so please don’t power cycle it during the process.
So far testing has been going well, but that’s part of why we haven’t formally announced anything yet.

LOL sorry quick on the draw Mike. I ran the update on the 8 port that was non critical. It updated just fine and came back up.

Basically if some proprietary/hybrid PDs were present, they may have caused issues with other active PDs. The issue was actually originally posted on the community by @kayvanaarssen & @Juzzel over HERE.

This fixes the issue when you use 24v/48v devices from for example Ubiquiti like Unifi US-8 AC-Lite earlier models etc.
