a few details on how to setup Cloudflare will be helpful. i used unsuccessful:

  • username/pass + token
  • username/token
  • username/global api key
  • username/global api key + token
  • username/token + global api key

@erpn7 Documentation is forthcoming, but I was able to use CloudFlare successfully with an API Key. Set the hostname to hostname@my-domain.com where “hostname” is the zone entry name, and “my-domain.com” is your zone domain. Then make sure you have an API Key that has permission to update zones, and set username to Bearer, and the password to that API Key.

I’ll try these cloudflare ddns steps in the morning. But I was hoping that there would be documentation upon release. Since it was such a big deal the last few releases for route10. Where packages were missing or things were said to be fixed that we weren’t aware weren’t working correctly. I’d love to see a new feature release, go find the documentation, Read through it, and implement it correctly the first time. I’ve struggled through l2tp. Ikev2 requiring a cert be downloaded that wasn’t specificed anywhere. Wireguard subnet standard not liking 192.168.1.0/24 way if cidr. Maybe I could flounder my way to victory if logs were easily accessible. Or possibly a service like ddns having some kind of indicator for online or offline. Getting some of the features configured first try has been a shot in the dark and a nightmare. I’m losing my initial excitement for the Route10. I stand behind the idea. I like the disruptive pricing. Highly capable hardware. Switches and aps work great. Can we try to get some really good documentation alongside feature releases?

Whilst the setup for DYNU is working initally when setup it is not refreshing the associated IP address when the provider changes it. I have to Disable then re-enable the third party DDNS to get it updated.
