We’re pleased to introduce a new update for Control—available for both cloud and on-premises deployments. Please see the list below for details:

• Detect and display duplicate and APIPA IP addresses.
• Route10: Add support for IPsec Client, including mobile and S2S.

This update is being rolled out now. You can manually initiate the upgrade if you’d like, or it will automatically update overnight. Here are the full running changelogs for both platforms:

Disabling the auto update feature is clearly not functioning as intended. When is this slated to be corrected?

From what I understand, the auto-update you can disable ONLY applies to the network hardware. The controller update is not disabled. I do not believe that option has ever been implemented.
I am not saying it is right or wrong, I am just pointing out the intent of the current toggle.

Fair enough and good observation. They need to change their wording, or fix the bug then.

I’ve learned one too many times with firmware and software upgrades that new releases will almost always cause gremlins elsewhere, hence why I never jump on new releases until things have been vetted out.
