Control 1.0y Released! (cloud & on-premises)

We’re pleased to introduce the latest update for Control—available for both cloud and on-premises deployments. Please see the list below for details:

• • Route10: Add support for WAN rate-limiting, using CAKE (under advanced WAN settings). Note that this disables hardware acceleration for WAN-destined packets, but can provide much better latency depending on the uplink.

This update is being rolled out now. You can manually initiate the upgrade if you’d like, or it will automatically update overnight. Here are the full running changelogs for both platforms:

What is the docker tag for this release? I tried altalabs/control:1.0y-amd64 but it does not appear to exist.

For the second time, why is Alta forcing updates to Alta Control’s without admin review and approval? Clearly I have automatic updates set to off.

I was on 1.0v. I return back from an extended business trip to find myself on 1.0y.

Not trying to defend anyone, but I expect the setting refers to network devices, not the controller itself. I shall create a feature request for this as I believe it should be implemented as soon as possible.
