Local controller are supposed to designed to work without cloud. However it is found that last week when cloud DNS down, local controller also down for no reason. There’s a way or workaround this, but I believe strongly that local controller should be in default isolated from any cloud service. Please make a button or something to implement this https://help.alta.inc/hc/en-us/articles/47983555191067-Using-Alta-Control-in-an-Isolated-Offline-Environment by default for local controller.

A local controller should be 100% isolated from the internet and run if there is no internet, however the Alta local white boxed controllers don’t run like this
