works fine on my mobile and IPAD but as soon as the VPN connects on my ChromeBook i lose internet access?

Sounds like the VPN on your Chromebook might be forcing all traffic through the tunnel and killing internet. Works on mobile/IPAD probably cuz they’re set diff.

Windows vpn you can uncheck a box.
I can’t see anywhere to achieve the same.

This issue will be related to your chromebook VPN client, which I have no experience with. Please consider exploring its settings thoroughly and perhaps investigate it further from the terminal.

Seems the wire guard app don’t work even though it connects.
You can use the inbuilt vpn and select wireguard , open the config downloaded from the R10, use the details to fill in and it works
