What kind of alert are you talking about? Like a in-app push notification or say an email? Either way currently I don’t think this is setup by standard. You might be able to craft your own with either the SNMP/Syslog monitoring.

If you want this to be a thing that Alta makes in the future then I would advise you make it a Feature Requests then people can vote on it :slight_smile:

Currently the notifications are limited to device (APs/switches) disconnects and access requests; however, more are on the roadmap.

When you say “device joins a wireless network”, I read that as “when a client associates to the WiFi”. Is that accurate?

I mean to say if a new client joins /associate to a WiFi network for the first time. Can we get a notification on mobile app or email?

I would recommend searching for a feature request for that to upvote it or, if there isn’t one, feel free to create it.

Our development is very community driven.
