Best practice for amount of SSID per AP?

Hello, first time poster & excited to get involved and start managing an Alta network.

Question: Is there any best practice regarding the amount of SSIDs that can be broadcast from a AP? I know the limit that an AP can support isn’t generally the best practice.

Generally speaking, you want as few SSIDs per ap per environment as possible.
Each SSID requires beacon frames, reducing the airtime you’re able to send data. To an extent. Most manufactures limit you to 4 SSIDs per ap. I would recommend using 4 or less, even if you’re allowed to do more.

do you think that would include non-broadcasted SSID’s as well?
