AP7-Pro Issue with RING Cameras & 802.11n devices

Hi all,

My two AP7-Pro WAP’s arrived yesterday, yay!

I am having major issues with 802.11n devices, Ring Cameras, Ring Chimes, WiFi garden light controllers etc. Constantly dropping their DHCP leases and re-assigning. Each device would do this every few seconds as per the log in my MikroTik Router.

I tested the devices with an older Grandstream access point and a UniFi access point the cameras would connect fine and not drop at all.

Is anyone else having issues with their AP7-Pro’s and 802.11n wireless clients?

Any help greatly appreciated.

It looks like you’re working with support on this already, but please let me know if I can still help.

Thx, Just wanted to also see if people were having the same thing and it’s not just me.

That’s not ideal.

After moving all my ring cameras to Alta based Wi-Fi network: Half of them cannot hold connection (reseting connection).

@amps46051 Are you running AP7-Pros as well? We cannot reproduce this internally yet, but we’re investigating…
