AP6W..... an AP that was a hell of a surprise!

I have never been a huge fan of wall APs. I thought that they were less powerful and less practical in many ways. For a bit of context, my networking experience is more likely prosumer and homelaber, so keep that in mind. That being said, even if it isn’t my favorite type of AP, I wanted to review it. I didn’t think that I would be blown away by this device. I received such a small box that I was like … are they forgetting to send the AP ahahahah?!? I compared the size with an AP6 Pro, AP,6, and their box, and it is insane the difference in size. This device also has 3 RJ45 ports instead of 1 and the same interface as the AP6 (2x2 2.4ghz and 5ghz). After testing it with the switch 8 ports and the AP6, I made some cool setup and config, and it showed me the true power of this device. If you are still reading by now, I haven’t talked yet about the pricing! In Canada, this device is about 135$ +tx. If you compare this type of device with other brands, they are miles away in terms of price!

Further on this video I made, I’m currently working on a video that compares speed, price, and functionalities of APs to help customer have a better idea of which AP is better in their use case.

I know that my content is in French, but if you find that helpful, let me know

Thanks, and if you have not played yet with the AP6W, it may be a good time to check buying one  ahahahah
