AP6-PROs not obtaining Mgmt VLAN Subnet from Route10

Any tips on how to get my AP6-PROs assigned to a Mgmt. VLAN I created? They won’t leave the Default VLAN 1 for this site. I haven’t touched the default port settings, so VLAN 1 is untagged and other VLANS are tagged. I’ve rebooted the router and rebooted the APs several times, changed the Lease time to min of 300 for the Default VLAN 1, waited overnight, no progress. Some screen shots attached.

I would love to see a deep dive video on VLANs for Route10 covering hardware infrastructure and mapping!

Also, with Alta can you convince me Default VLAN 1 is safe to stay on contrary to Cisco’s guidance.? I see that referenced in a lot of Alta videos and not much about straying away from it. For most of my sites I am more concerned about wireless clients than ports being plugged into by rouge devices.

I am trying to follow best practices and avoid a flat network but don’t claim to be an expert (yet!) I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
