I really can’t decide between the AP6 and AP6 Pro.
Is there a noticeable range and speed difference on 5GHz between both devices?
Is the double power consumption compared to the AP6 really worth the money?
Is the 2,4 GHz range the same?
Everything depends on your place, numbers of devices (wireless), range you want to cover. I would personally go for the Pro version since it has the 4x4 MIMO interface instead of 2X2. If the price is a concern, I may look at open boxes. You should be able to get fairly the same price but for much better performances.
I have 2 Pro models and I only use 5Ghz in the house for Home devices. I also have the Pro Outdoor (made reviews of both devices, posts, and YT videos (L3houx)) and I have full coverage over 5Ghz for sur 2.4ghz would give you a much larger coverage, but it is always a question of stability and speed. If it is to have speed and your garage, it would be fine 2.4Ghz. In your office, I would go for 5Ghz for full speed instead of running over 2.4Ghz.
Like I said earlier, it depends of many things but I think that you can’t go wrong with the Pro version.
