AP6 Pro Non-compliance with Local UNII Regulations?

I was doubting whether to post this under the AP or controller section but here it is.

This little AP6 Pro did not comply with regulations straight out of the box with its default SSID configured ‘test’. Only UNII1, 2, and 2c are allowed here (The Netherlands) aka etsi.

It should automatically conform to the local regulations based on the AP’s location settings. Since the APs are (I believe) not restricted to a country by software. This should be configurable either manually in the Controller or auto-through an IP-based location call-out correctly.

My controller runs on: 1.0g
The AP Pro runs on: 2.0w

ps.

I adjusted this manually now to comply.

**Kind regards, **

@CrowdControl Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The APs are restricted to the country they are installed in by software. I have reported this to our development team. They will be in touch with you shortly on this to confirm a couple of things.

@CrowdControl I spoke with @Alta-Jeff this evening and confirmed that is a bug. He and his team will be correcting that in the very next firmware release.

Thank you for being so active in the community. Great to have you here!
