Unplugged AP to relocate it. After plugging it back in it never came back on. Not getting a link light on the Alta switch. Tried multiple ports on the switch and multiple patch cables.
Is there any activity on the PoE light on the switch interface itself?
There was but after attempting to reset the AP it hasn’t shown any POE activity.
So after plugging it in and it not functioning, you had activity on the PoE LED, and after attempting to reset, there’s zero activity? Which model switch are you using? Any indicator in the web interface of anything on that port of the switch?
Switch is the Alta S8-POE. AP is plugged into port 4 on the switch. But yes after following the reset process I saw on another post here there is zero activity.
Which reset process did you perform?
There’s just holding the button or holding the button while plugging in Ethernet.
Holding the power button while plugging in the ethernet.
