AP6 Pro getting slow download rates

I’m testing an AP6 Pro plugged into a s8 POE Switch. My Internet WAN line is 1Gb & I’m plugging the AP into the switch directly. The switch then plugs into my Internet Router (residential).

If I use the Routers own WiFi, I can get at least 800Gb Download rates. If I plug a device via ethernet into the Alta Labs Switch, I’ll see nearly 1Gb Download Rates.

The indicator light on the switch port used for the AP shows a 1Gb connection but I’m maxing out at about 100Mb Download rates with only my cell phone logged into the WiFi.

Can anyone explain what I’m doing wrong?

What do your SSID settings look like for the wireless network the AP6 is broadcasting?

i think i may have fixed it, replaced the ethernet cable & it seems to be better. everything was running in default mode for testing. i’m going to try some more another day when i’ve got time, it managed to get up to 500mb with a new cable
