Has anyone had issues with APs not being seen through the cloud management with cables over 100ft? Works great on short jumper cables but dont seem to work with cables 100-300ft. The AP turns on but i cant manage them at all.
I should add i am using a peplink hd4 router with starlink as the primary connection. Would satalite latency cause issues with cloud management?
Yes, satellite latency can cause issues. Peplink HD4 is not satellite but instead cellular. This said, I have a BR1 Pro and BR2 Pro, both LTE and 5G, for redundancy and have no issues. What type of cable are you using? Should be using at a minimum of CAT5e. CAT5e has a maximum distance of 328ft however, if you’re using something other than pure copper, you could see issues at longer distances before the maximum distance.
