Any new installs people are willing to share?

I think it helps build confidence across the board to see others successfully installing and using Alta Labs in any kind of environment. Does anyone have an updated install they are willing to share? I can start with my minimal install in my new house. No I don’t have a rack. However, this is in the closet in my office, which can easily be closed when it needs to hide.

I am running Route10 with a gigabit symmetrical fiber internet service.
S24-PoE, mostly empty but I like having it to play with.
S8-Poe on my office desk.
2 AP6 Pros covers my entire two story 2,317 sq ft home.

Quick side note, Jeff has helped me build scripts to schedule my link light LEDs to turn off automatically at night. If anyone is interested let me know and I can write up a tutorial and publish the scripts.

I unfortunately don’t have any pictures of it right now, but just today I did swap in a S8-POE and AP6 into a small retail store to replace some older Ubiquiti equipment that wasn’t working properly anymore.

I’ll look back and see if I have some other pictures recent equipment installs. Mostly smaller or partial installs as of late, so nothing too sexy to look at

I think the tutorial on the LED script would be neat though!

Let’s see, this was replaceing a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter and Netgear switch which weren’t working so well anymore:

The hope is to fully swap this over to Alta equipment at some point and cleanup but there’s other projects that have taken precedence over that.

Replacing an old Netgear 10/100 switch with a S24-POE

Unforunately the deisre to cleanup the whole setup wasn’t there at the time so it’s just the switch for now.

Just a router replacement on this one for now

Same here, although a little more interesting since I could use the SFP+ ports on the Route10. Still needs some cleanup though so it look a bit prettier.

Anyway, I should have a few others but it seems I didn’t take pictures of them. Shame on me lol
