Hi
I found a bug in the Android app last night that has caused loss of internet.
In the app if you click on the route 10, then click on a port. If you click on the “mode” and make no change E.g leave it in WAN mode, but if you click on the back arrow top left it changes the port to Standard.
We are unable to reproduce this according to your written steps. Can you describe which Android model and OS version you are using?
Using S25 app version 1.18.5
More detailed guide to reproduce below:
Open App.
Click Network rail.
Click on Route 10
On the Ports “tab”.
Click on the “W1” port.
Click on “mode”
Click the top left Arrow (not the done or cancel button).
Mode now changes from WAN to Standard.

I have done a factory reset, and got basic internet back working
Is there a way to sync with the cloud controller to restore my config from the cloud controller
Not keen to rebuild all the configs.
We were able to reproduce and fix the bug with the port type getting modified.
Unfortunately there is no way to migrate a config currently, but if you are handy with postgres and can invite me to your site, I can send you the json config and you can insert it into your database manually.
Happy to try and restore the json config if you can let me know how to invite you, and any steps/guides to restore the json.
Glad you can reproduce fairly major defect that has caused total internet outage, and need to do a full restore/rebuild of the router.
I’m also confused as to why the loss of internet didn’t trigger the setting to be restore.
Bugs like this are why there needs to be a minimal UI on the device themselves to make the minor fixes, as soon as internet connectivity is lost, everything fails.
Update:
I clicked the “setup” button on the manage dashboard in the network tab, and everything seems to be happy and working again, Route10 picked up the 192.168.2.1/24 LAN IP address, VLANs are all still working as well.
I’ve done a reboot and it’s come back up again ok, light on the top is back to normal white colour, all my static IPs also appear to be working.
Not sure I need to restore from json file?
If everything looks like it’s working, you shouldn’t need to restore. It’s only if you’ve set up several VLANs with subnets and/or firewall rules that you’d need to migrate a config.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Based on the bug, you must have clicked save after the port type was erroneously modified for it to lose Internet connection. The fix for this will be pushed out soon.
Yes that’s correct.
I removed the “Download Limit” and “Upload Limit” as a result of an ISP speed upgrade.
In that process I clicked into mode, but didn’t change it, but due to the bug it changed from WAN to Standard, which dropped me off the internet.
