I try to keep this as non-political as possible…
One major deciding factor for choosing Alta products, for me, was the company being based in the USA as opposed to some other brands feeling more and more sketchy due to development and production in less trustworthy countries.
But, the former rock solid global trust in the US has very unfortunately turned in the direction towards rock bottom in a matter weeks. 
Alta, are there any plans on setting up alternative Cloud facilities that are physically based outside of the USA?
Bare with me here… What if the controller was truly local? No politics involved, and solves problems other users have been asking for.

We have architected our cloud infrastructure to reduce the number of hops from your site(s) to our cores. Meaning, if you are in the USA, you are served out of the USA. If you based in the EU, you are served out of the EU. We put together our trust site to help explain this in greater detail.
