I want to use Alta Pass for about twenty small apartments.
Today, I created an extra SSID as a test setup using Alta Pass. I noticed that the download and upload speeds set on both networks were not limited to the values I had set.
Is this a known issue? Or did I make a mistake in the configuration?
What kind of speeds were you getting on the extra SSID? From my limited use of the rate limiting I’ve seen that the speeds are close to the limit, plus or minus a little. That’s when testing using something like speedtest.net to determine speed to the Internet.
I was unable to reproduce this issue locally. Setting mine to 50 results in a limit of 50Mbps in my speedtests with fast.com.
I have created a new SSID and made the config again. The configured limits worked this time.
