Hello community! :slightly_smiling_face:

This is Jorge from Madrid, Spain. Im very excited to share the first box-picture with the Alta Labs AP6-PRO and the S8-POE Switch! I will be sharing also my impressions and experience with the platform and its performance as well.

Just wanted to open up this thread which I will be updating in the upcoming days with more info.

First impressions.

Solid, well designed and easy to setup devices!

I am having a general very good impression, but the highlights are:

  1. Consistent performance disregarding the device used! I have associated 15 devices, from Android phones, tablets, iOS devices, Windows PC and MacBooks and … an air fryer :smiley:
  2. Better coverage due to its antenna design. I get connection on spots that before it was hard to get or the dBm of the signal intensity were poor.
  3. The setup process … so much less pain! Two clicks and they’re working!
  4. The LEDs. Im a big fan of those blinking blue lights on the switch.

I have 550 Mbps symmetrical speeds with my ISP and all the speed tests were like the one above!
