Alta Lab`s is cool

I have tried many different vendors over the years, including Ubiquiti/UniFi, HP Instant On, and MikroTik. I’ve deployed multiple access points, switches, and routers from various manufacturers.

But Alta Labs really stands out.

I’ve been running Alta Labs equipment for about two years now, including five or more indoor and outdoor access points, switches, and a Route10 router. The experience has been remarkably smooth. Everything just works.

That’s actually why I think it would be hilarious if Alta Labs added a setup mode inspired by DOOM:

  • I’m Too Young to Die – Everything is configured automatically.

  • Hurt Me Plenty – Standard setup mode.

  • Ultra-Violence – Advanced networking options.

  • Nightmare! – Expert mode with full control.

  • Ultra-Nightmare – Every possible setting exposed, no limits, for networking veterans.

The funny thing is that Alta Labs is almost too easy to use. You connect it, configure it, and you’re done.

I’ve been running my network for two years without any real issues, and believe me, my family tests it to the absolute limit every single day with Smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, streaming, gaming, and everything else imaginable.

I would genuinely like to say thank you. The products work, the improvements keep coming, and the indoor and outdoor access points are excellent.

One thing that really impressed me is the Wi-Fi coverage. I still have usable Wi-Fi in places around my house where I honestly never expected a signal to reach. More than once I’ve walked far outside and been surprised to see that I was still connected.

Thank you for building products that are reliable, easy to manage, and simply do what they’re supposed to do.

Best regards,

Thomas

I’ve got many systems out there that are just HASSLE / issue free, once setup they work. My home network that the “wife” - “kid” uses has been flawless also. So, happy wife happy life !

Agreed it’s the best kit I’ve seen and I work with enterprise firewalls
