I was told that the default setting for AP6 Pro was not a mesh network. Is there a particular reason on why it would not be a mesh network, and can you instruct me on how to update settings to become a mesh network
Select the access point you wish to change setting for on the management portal , then click settings and then you will see a mesh toggle switch.
What this does is allow the AP to connect wirelessly to other Access Points to create a mesh. If it’s not ticked the AP will only connect to the network via the Ethernet connection.
It’s always better to have the APs wired together and not rely on a wireless mesh but if you don’t have the cable insfrastucture then mesh is the only way to go.
