2.4GHz IOT devices refuse to connect

I’m having trouble getting certain 2.4GHz-only devices to connect reliably (Ring doorbell + chime, smart blinds, etc.). I’ve already tried a number of suggestions from the forum, including creating a separate 2.4GHz-only SSID and reducing AirTime Efficiency to 1000 kbps, but no luck so far.

Has anyone experienced similar issues and found a set of settings that fully resolved the problem?

For context, when I connect the same devices through my ISP’s router they work without any issues, so it seems to be specific to the Alta setup.

It could be worthwhile to access the logs in the controller while trying to connect a device to see what’s being recorded:
System Logs – Alta Labs

That should hopefully shed a little light on what might be occurring when the devices connect to an AP.

Change your wireless site mode to Small rather than large.

I always use Standard/Small as settings and I configure options after. I don’t know if it can change anything, but does cost a lot to test it  Hope that solve your problem.
