Hello all,
I have a 5GB internet connection coming in via STATIC IP; i have verified the source and it has a good speed by directly connecting my PC to the router and configuring the IP;
I then took the WAN into my ALTA LABS router and configured IP and then hooked up my desktop directly to LAN1 on the router via DHCP and i am also getting full speed. When i connect my AP to the same LAN1 port, the speed is somehow reduced to 10MB each time i do a speed test. it starts off a bit faster but tones down to 10MB or LESS each time.
Cable from Router to AP is CAT6
My laptop is sitting right next to the AP and has a strong signal -42
Its not my laptop card because on other networks i get full speed over WIFI so that is not the issue, i have also tested with my iPhone and still have similar issues.
I am using password dependent connection for WIFI so i can have multiple passwords and this is the setup, please see below.. Does anyone have any suggestions?
