Filled it out. Happy to test

I was wondering if it woul be possible to get access to the Beta Controller. I have a S8-POE switch and 2x AP6-Pro arriving today. I would like to setup a local controller on my Firewalla Gold in a docker container to document the procedure and share with the community.

Form filled. Can’t wait to try it on docker.

Hi, i’m wondering if i can get an invite for the controller, the google form seems to be gone,
Cheers

@Mitch483 Beta has closed, but the production version is ready!

For the people in the beta do we now need to pay the onetime cost?

@WhyAydan Your beta product code will work on the production version.

Legend!

The install instructions still reference the beta version.

Also, are you really continuing with the scheme that config is maintained within the Docker container, and is hence lost whenever the container is recreated? This goes against pretty much every other container out there.

Cheers

Andy

@adhawkins Can you clarify where you are seeing the reference to the beta version?

It’s true that the current docker image is more like a monolithic Linux system. We will continue over time to make it more Docker-ish, but as it stands it is fully functional and will upgrade automatically via apt.

In the YouTube video (https://youtu.be/UfgNA3RDKLo?si=ZYg_C6E2EyLDIjVY&t=13) linked from here: Control

@adhawkins Good catch! The video is still completely relevant if you follow the updated instructions here: https://media.alta.inc/installation_guide/Alta_Labs_Control_Installation_Guide.pdf . We’ll need to fix that reference in the video at some point.

Unfortunately the beta is closed. :frowning:
Is there still a way to join and test?
