After seeing the Tailscale feature request thread sit for a while I figured I’d just make it happen. Got it working on the Route 10 with subnet routing, exit node, or
both.

I can pull up my phone on cell data and reach everything on my home network like I’m sitting in my living room. Printers, Plex, cameras, whatever. Or flip on exit node
mode and all my phone’s traffic routes through my home connection so it looks like I’m browsing from home.

Source and setup instructions are here:

It’s a single script that walks you through setup. Handles reboots, auto updates weekly, and has a recovery mode if anything goes sideways. There’s also a clean
uninstall that puts everything back the way it was.

One heads up, if you have other devices on your LAN running Tailscale, don’t let them accept your own subnet route or they’ll lose direct LAN access. The setup warns
about this too.

Tested on firmware 1.4z. Tailscale free tier works fine.

Can one allow it to accept routes? Such that I, in my home, while running tailscale only on the route 10, can access a different subnet in another location.

E.g.

- I at home with 192.168.42.0/24
- would like to access 192.168.33.0/24

On my home pc with 192.168.42.77, should I ping 192.168.33.1, it will be sent to the gateway (route 10), which will then pick it up and send it a subnet router in the 192.168.33.0/24 area

I can probably take a look at it, but I have migrated away from tailscale to netbird so I may not have a update quickly on this.

No worries mate. Tailscale support has been added to 1.5c released 2 days ago so I’ll just follow up there. Thanks again.
