Speed problem on Route10

As long as you don’t remove the device from your site, its configuration will be retained by the controller. This allows you to automatically restore it when assigning the device to the same site.

Setting up the device on a blank new site is a good troubleshooting step. Isolating the issue is important, so reducing the network to the fewest possible variables would help to narrow down where the problem comes from.

There is also still the IDS/IPS setting to check. It shouldn’t impact this, but we should confirm it just in case.

IDS/IPS doesn’t affect speed. However, I’ve noticed that when I see 0°C on Route10 in the control panel, the speed drops to 200MB/s. Like Now

I’m considering resetting and adding a new control panel, but if that solves the problem, we won’t know what the problem was.

Before doing that, I’d like to ask: Is there any way to downgrade the Route10 firmware?

You will be able to restore your Route10 to the original site as long as you do not use the delete button to remove it from the site. This way we can always restore the broken state that you are experiencing now.

can i use “Move to” option for the router or i need to reset to default and then adopt to new site?

I would hold the reset button for a few seconds so that the original site doesn’t require any tampering of its state.

It seems that a factory reset solved the problem.
However, as I wrote earlier, this solution isn’t the answer. I didn’t have a particularly extensive configuration yet, just several VLANs and some port forwarding. I can’t imagine informing a customer about the need for a factory reset because something went wrong after an update and the manufacturer doesn’t even know how to check what went wrong. That would look bad…

Forgive my bluntness, but that’s how I feel.

Software is incomplete on this product. This feels like beta software. This product has been on the market for at least 6 months and still quite shocking the current state it is in.
