Good morning. Yes at the moment it is QR code only. We have sent a feature suggestion in for .conf file download.
As a quick export, you can import it on your phone with the QR code, then go to Settings, export your config, and save the zip. Inside that zip is the .config
I have users that were using the IPSec VPN that can’t connect anymore. Could that be caused by the new update that rolled out Wireguard? I’d rather go with Wireguard anyway so I tried to get them setup with that. Shows connected, but I don’t see any Data received and clients don’t have internet until wireguard disconnects. Is the DNS supposed to be the router on the Wireguard network or the local network. What other setting could be messing this up?
Try using the router IP of the wireguard tunnel.
My wireguard network is 172.16.200.1/24 - I just testing and id use 172.16.200.1
I initially used the routers local IP as the DNS, but I did change it to the router IP of the Wireguard tunnel. Still didn’t work so I rebooted the router to see if that would help it take the change. Same result. Where can we check logs to see where the problem is?
@rutman286 really appreciate your help. Just to bring this to a conclusion: It turns out that my ISP was CGNATing. They gave me a static IP and now I am able to VPN via external wifi and 5G hotspots.
Finally found my issue of why it wasn’t working. Didn’t put a subnet mask on the Subnet part in settings. Working now
Maybe a tooltip would be helpful for that.
