Im curious why the Alta switches have very limited POE power? An S8 will only power 1-2 POE+ (non-Alta) WAPs and approx 2 IP Cams. Same goes for S16 & S24, with only a few of the POE ports able to support other POE+ devices. Will there be a more powerful option in the future to use the switches first as part of a takeover ? Half of my work, is taking over networks and getting them to work reliably.

@dealstereo Here are the PoE+ budgets for each switch model:
S8-POE: 60 Watts - available on first 4 ports
S16-POE: 120 Watts - available on first 8 ports
S24-POE: 240 Watts - available on first 16 ports.
Are you finding that the budget above is not sufficient for your projects? Or are you seeing less than that out of your switches?
