# Oooh, firmware 1.1j update dropped!

We’ve updated the [release post now too](https://forum.alta.inc/t/ap-release-notes/318). Firmware `1.1j` contains the following changes:

- Improve mesh uplink stability
- Improve overall stability
- Enable “Always On” by default. This change will apply to new and existing sites where the setting has never been adjusted.
- Improve LLDP frame reception
