If I have a vlan Isolated, as shown below, can I add a single firewall rule explicitly allowing that isolated VLAN access to a single device on another VLAN? Or would I need to manually isolate the VLAN with firewall rules in order to achieve that?

Great question! No, you cannot. A VLAN that has isolation enabled is truly isolated and there is no way to open rules to/from your LAN.

Yes, if you needed this ability you would manually have to create the rules required in the firewall. You cannot leverage this Isolation toggle for that use case.
