Looking at buying a customized DAC cable from [FS.com](http://FS.com) but what brand do I need to have the DAC cable coded for on the Alta Route 10 Side to ensure good compatibility?

> Hi all, We’re happy to announce the availability of an online SFP/+/DAC transceiver compatibility list! We are often asked what SFPs our devices support and there are simply too many brands, models, and varieties to reasonably purchase, test, and log each and every one. No exaggeration, it’s likely to be in the millions of dollars (if not tens of millions of dollars) to do that and a massive effort for manpower. So why not crowdsource the data? The list of reported modules can be found at [ht…](https://sfp.alta.inc/sfp/results)

Beaker, I did review that list initially but it didn’t list any of the FS DAC cable types. I read a few other pages that listed users using FS cables with good success, but no one mentioned the ‘brand’ of the encoded DAC. I’ll be mating it to a HP Aruba instant on switch, so I need that end encoded accordingly for fewer issues, may as well get the alta route end encoded correctly whilst I’m at it.
