Does running a channel scan cause the APs to auto optimize or are the channel scan results seperate from the auto channel selection? I noticed my APs like to use the same channel even the 2 closest will stay on the same channel.
The channel scan just simply scans the channels and gives you a nice visual representation of how busy things are. It does not perform any adjustment functions at this time.
Figured just wanted to be sure.
