# Auto update notification by email or whats app

I am writing to request a personal enhancement to our firmware upgrade process. While the current process is highly efficient and operates on a real-time basis, I would appreciate it if we could implement a notification system for new features or changes.

Currently, I am not aware of any new features unless I actively search for them online. I would be grateful if we could provide me with an email notification each time a new feature is added, along with an explanation of its functionality.

this detailed updates are available easily for the Alta Partners, but there is no way a user will come gets to know about the same.

Thanks for the feedback! We have been discussing this in depth as of late. It’s most likely that it will be integrated with our forum release posts, at this point. We just need to tweak the way we are using our forum software.

An Webhook would be nice (still exploring the kit). I send my Fortinet notifications to Discord or Teams Channel, etc.

There is webhook support for disconnect notifications, under Settings-\>System-\>Advanced; would you want a webhook to notify when an update is available, or when it’s already updated?
